This Lent we give birth to a new project at Cedar Park United: Caring Community.

Like every newborn, it will take us some time to discover its character, its features, but we do know something about its genetics! Caring Community is our way of helping every single person in our Cedar Park Community discover  and strengthen their God-given capacity to care for self and for others. For more reflection have a look at Rev Elisabeth’s Beyond Wood and Stone blog

Here are some of the activities through which you might engage in the project.

Facilitator: Rev. Angie Arendt (UCC/US)
Angie has recently relocated to Montreal (and to Cedar Park United!) from Iowa, where she served for many years on the ministry team of a large UCC congregation, as teacher, listener, facilitator, leader, change agent and organizer. Her expertise in creating opportunities for individuals and groups (large and small) to engage in transformational work inside the church carries over beautifully into her current work with individuals and groups (large and small) outside of the church. She is a Partner and Senior Faculty with the Deep Life Company.
