Prayer in the Sanctuary
During Holy Week, the sanctuary will be open for private prayer at these times:
Wednesday between 9 AM and noon
Thursday between 9 AM and noon when Maundy Thursday prayers begin
Friday from 9 AM until the Good Friday worship begins at 10:30 AM
Access is via the door under the rainbow flag and then left down the hallway to the front of the sanctuary.
Good Friday Worship
The faith communities of Cedar Park United and Merging Waters United Church invite you to gather for Good Friday Worship, online and onsite at 204 Lakeview Ave, at 10:30 AM.
Worship includes scripture, song, silence and prayerful reflection as we stand witness to God's Love, at the foot of the Cross of Jesus.
Easter Sunrise Worship
Join other churches from the West Island for an ecumenical celebration at Windmill Point. You’re invited to bring with you donations for the West Island Mission (or make a donation directly to them).
Easter Sunday Worship
Again and again, the sun/son rises. He is risen! He is risen indeed!
Our worship begins at 9:55 AM (ET) onsite and online via YouTube.
We will be sharing in communion during this service and all are welcome to participate—there are no obstacles.
Families with children are invited to the Family Pray Space, a sensory-friendly activity space for parents and kids of all kinds. Children who wish get to participate in the Easter Procession at the start of worship, and a special Children’s Worship for children of all ages will happen partway through the service (outside if the weather permits).
You’re warmly invited to stay after worship for coffee and Connection Time in the Sanctuary.
Line Dancing
Line dancing is offered every Tuesday afternoons in the Community Hall.
This drop-in activity is $6 per session.
Beginners: 1-2 PM
Improvers: 2:15-3:15 PM

Space is limited for this meaningful spiritual ritual, so please let us know exactly how many people will be attending. It's important that you reserve your seat by Thursday, March 21 so that our hosts know exactly how many guests to prepare for.
Watch the video invitation from our hosts and sign up below.
Palms to Passion Sunday Worship
This is an all-ages worship celebration including a palm parade.
Again and again throughout Lent we’ve seen God’s loving, forgiving, guiding response to human flaws, failings and messes. Today we see Jesus and other humans drawing on God for courage to do difficult things. This was no risk-free palm party, but a peaceful protest against violent power; that takes “cœur” – courage, heart. Are we ready to join that palm procession, all the way?
Worship begins at 9:55 AM (ET) onsite and online. Wherever you'll be participating, we encourage you to prepare something in advance to represent a palm. It could be a branch from your yard, a leaf, a scarf, a fan, a paper palm—whatever you wish. Whatever you would wave at an impromptu parade! You can download a paper palm here.
Families with children are invited to the Family Pray Space, a sensory-friendly activity space for parents and kids of all kinds. We’ll stay together for this service.
You’re warmly invited to stay after worship for coffee and Connection Time in the Sanctuary.
CANCELLED Doing Easter Differently (for families)
A combination of low registration and repair work in the church building that needs to be done on Saturday has made us come to the wise decision that we need to cancel Saturday’s event. Stay tuned for a Doing Easter Differently (Digitally!) web page.
This event that will include food for body and soul; hands-on activities for all ages and time for discussion, play, and reflection. Expect bunnies and eggs, blossoms and crosses and empty tombs, and surprises! Always surprises…
Similar to our Doing Advent Differently event, we’ll spend time together exploring this familiar Christian celebration of Easter from some very different, life-giving, guilt-shedding, eye-opening angles.

Sunday Worship
Again and again, suffering and brokenness find us. Again and again, we mess up, and yet again and again God recalls, restores, re-shapes, and re-forms us from the inside out. Jeremiah’s way of describing this is a powerful metaphor: the Way of God is written on our hearts, and becomes the “core” of who we are, and how we live.
Our worship begins at 9:55 AM (ET) onsite and online via YouTube. Wherever you are, wherever you’re participating from, you are welcome!
Families with children are invited to the Family Pray Space, a sensory-friendly activity space for parents and kids of all kinds. Children’s Worship for children of all ages begins partway through the service.

Sunday Worship
Again and again, suffering and brokenness find us. Again and again, we mess up, and yet again and again, God’s first response is love; a love that heals, forgives, and creates opportunities for deeper connection with God, with the world, and with our souls. This is Jesus’ refrain in his conversation with a man called Nicodemus.
Our worship begins at 9:55 AM (ET) onsite and online via YouTube. Wherever you are, wherever you’re participating from, you are welcome!
Onsite families with children are invited to the Family Pray Space, a sensory-friendly activity space for parents and kids of all kinds. Children’s Worship for children of all ages begins partway through the service. Throughout Lent, we’re adding to the Lenten Prayer Wall together.
You’re warmly invited to stay after worship for coffee and Connection Time in the Sanctuary.
