Focus on LGBTQ Youth Centre for April

As part of Cedar Park United’s 12 Months of 2012 Project, for April our focus is on the LGBTQ Youth Centre, located at 202 Woodside in Beaconsfield, where gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and questioning youth meet in confidence and comfort. The Centre offers support and information to parents, families and friends as well as awareness sessions for West Island schools to reduce homophobia and bullying. Throughout April, we invite you to donate snack food: cookies, chips, etc., juice and cans of pop. Buying a $25 membership would also enable the Centre to reach out to more young people.
