The Truth and Reconciliation Commission came to Montreal on April 24-17, 2013.Â In an effort to help people understand what happened and to stand in solidarity with the people who will share their stories, the United Churches on the West Island held an information session on Saturday, April 13, from 10 am-3 pm at Roxboro United Church (116 Cartier Ave.) Speakers from the native community were present, videos were shown, and there was as an opportunity for discussion and questions.
Members of Cedar Park United also went to the Queen Elizabeth Hotel to attend hearings on April 26.
