“What Do We Believe?” Study Series Beginning in February

Rev. Elisabeth will lead a series of studies, suitable for youth, adults, seekers, long-timers, newcomers and new members, beginning in February. In 1925, the United Church of Canada was formed as a union of three distinct denominational traditions, and was joined a generation later by a fourth denominational group. This means our faith heritage is ‘diverse’ to say the least! At various points, we have created ‘statements of faith’, from the “Articles of Faith”, the well-loved “New Creed” and most recently the “Song of Faith.” All congregations have been asked to study these faith statements in preparation for the national “General Council” (Aug 2012).
