Due to COVID-19, Mini Connections Play Group is unfortunately unable to take place right now. While we all stand by in these strange times, we wish you and your little ones health, courage, endurance–and hopefully the occasional dose of humour, too. Feel free to contact Martha Randy, our Family and Youth Ministries Coordinator, with any questions.

Thursdays from 9:15 to 11 am in our bright, spacious and accessible Community Hall

Cedar Park United is pleased to offer this weekly drop-in play group–the only free group of its kind on the West Island–to children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. The goal of this group is to provide a safe, welcoming space for play, connection and socialization. Parenting young children can sometimes lead to isolation–which is why building connections is so important!

Everyone is welcome to attend!  Mini Connections takes place every Thursday from 9:15-11:00 (September to June) in Cedar Park’s bright and spacious Community Hall. There’s no need to register in advance. Free parking is available in our adjacent parking lot and the church can also be reached by bus.

A typical play group session includes free play with puzzles and play clay, riding toys for the older children, a floor play area for crawlers and good conversation for the adults. We usually come together for circle time, sing songs, listen to some stories and get to know each other. Caregivers should feel free to bring a snack for their child.

If you’d like to find out more, please contact Martha Randy, our Family and Youth Ministries Coordinator or call the church office at 514-695-3337.
