Fall 2026 Stewardship Program

A Season of Gratitude

This fall, Cedar Park United is beginning a stewardship program with a simple theme: An Attitude of Gratitude. Stewardship begins with gratitude—with recognizing what we have been given and asking how we might use those gifts for the life of our church, our community, and our world. There is much for which to be grateful at Cedar Park United. We are entering a time of renewed energy in our life together, strengthening our worship, nurturing our children and young people, reaching out into the wider community, and living out our identity and values. All of this is possible because people offer themselves in so many different ways-with their time, abilities, financial support, prayer, compassion, leadership and care.

Woven Together

Throughout the season, we will explore stewardship through the image of weaving. In the sanctuary, you will see strands and ribbons gradually woven together. Each strand will represent something of who we are and what we bring-time, skills, financial resources, prayer, friendship, hospitality, advocacy, and more. Our gifts are different, but each one matters. No strand stands alone. Together, our individual gifts become something stronger and more beautiful than any one strand could be by itself.

Gratitude in Our Stories

Each Sunday during the program, someone from our Cedar Park United community will share a few words about gratitude-what they are thankful for, what Cedar Park United means to them, and how gratitude finds expression in their life. We hope these personal reflections will help all of us think about the people, experiences and blessings for which we give thanks.

A Mailing and an Invitation

As part of An Attitude of Gratitude, if you have shared your street address with us, you will receive a mailing from Cedar Park United. If you have not yet done so, you will be able to download the mailing here.

It will include a pledge card inviting you to consider your financial support for the coming year, as well as an opportunity to make a special gift. These gifts will help Cedar Park United sustain and grow our worship, programs and outreach as we move into this next chapter of our life together.

An Invitation for Everyone

This is not a test of belonging, and there is no single "right" response. We know that people's circumstances are different. Instead, we invite everyone to reflect prayerfully on what is meaningful and possible for them.
