    Come benefit from creative play, movement, music and collective effervescence. Whether you’re a seasoned drummer or have never played before, there is place for you!

    It’s a precious hour to be off your phone and connecting with wonderful fellow humans and an opportunity to disconnect from the demands and stresses of life.

  • Covenanting Service for Rev. Dr. Michael Caveney: October 25

    This will be a special Sunday for our community when we join in a covenanting service with our new minister, Rev. Dr. Michael Caveney. Please mark your calendars :

    1) There will be no 10 AM worship on October 25 and

  • Midweek Musical Connections with Leo Purich and Peter Purich: October 27

    The Tuesday, October 27 concert at 7 PM features multi-instrumentalists Leo and Peter Purich, who have been collaborating and celebrating their joy of music for over two decades. With the theme “Dances and Romances” this concert will be sure to please!  Minimum donation $15.

    Recently returned from a European tour, Montreal-based organist Philip Crozier will demonstrate the colours of the organ in a wide ranging, appealing repertory.

    Healing Pathway sessions are offered by appointment on Mondays between 1 and 5 PM in the Oasis Room (basement level) in the Cedar Park United church building.

Book Launch of “Midrashic Imagination”, by Rev. Dr. Elisabeth Jones

Join us for the book launch of “Midrashic Imagination: Texts and Textures for Pulpit and Pew” 📚 by Rev. Dr. Elisabeth Jones, on Saturday, June 13, from 2 - 3:30 PM in the Cedar Park United sanctuary.

Rev. Elisabeth looks forward to bringing this project to its completion with her co-authors: the community of Cedar Park United, with gratitude for the years we spent together that informed the content of her writing.

For the past decade, whether you participated in midweek midrash gatherings or participated in Sunday worship, you shared in this midrashic existence. Which means you are all invited.  

And if you are curious about using this approach to Scripture with your own community or congregation, this invitation is also for you.

Midweek Musical Connections

Musicians Ludwig Semerjian, on our 1920 New York Steinway, and Peter Purich, on the violin, will present these two 1784 Mozart sonatas. They will describe the musical connections between the two pieces, including what to listen for. Whether you are a seasoned concert-goer or are new to classical music, this will be a very special  evening. All ages welcome.

Community Connections

Come enjoy a simple lunch and an afternoon of working on projects aimed at helping others beyond our walls — all in a warm, inclusive, multigenerational setting.

11:30 AM to 1 PM: Soup lunch (pay as you can)

1 to 3 PM: Sandwich making

Together, we'll make between 200 and 400 sandwiches for Bread and Beyond.

Come for a while or stay for the whole time. Let us know below how you're able to participate!

Scam Prevention Workshop

Learn how to recognize scams before they happen. Gain confidence and learn simple, practical strategies to protect yourself from fraudsters. 

Business owner turned Certified Fraud Examiner, Eric Ouimet now focuses on fraud detection and prevention by helping individuals and organizations strengthen their knowledge and awareness of fraud and scams, offering workshops, consulting and training to groups and businesses.

Cedar Park United and Les Petits Frères are partnering to offer this important workshop for our communities.

Gagnez en confiance et découvrez des stratégies simples et pratiques pour vous protéger contre les fraudeurs. Ancien chef d'entreprise devenu expert agréé en matière de fraude, Eric Ouimet se consacre désormais à la détection et à la prévention de la fraude en aidant les particuliers et les organisations à renforcer leurs connaissances et leur sensibilisation à la fraude et aux escroqueries, en proposant des ateliers, des services de conseil et des formations à des groupes et à des entreprises.

Every year we hold an annual congregational meeting to review and celebrate the year past and look toward the year to come.

This year, the ACM will take place on Sunday, March 8 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM onsite in the Sanctuary and on Zoom.
