Voices for Hope, the performing community choir of many seasons, has returned after a 2½-year hiatus, and will be taking a different direction. Our benefit concerts have been put on hold.
This season, Voices for Hope has become a weekly, Wednesday afternoon singing activity at Cedar Park United, a get-together of vocal enthusiasts who simply want to sing in a group, in person, for sheer enjoyment, and we’re looking for more voices!
As a Cedar Park Church programme, the singing get-togethers will take the format of 3 separate 8-week semesters throughout the year (fall, winter and spring). There will be a participation fee for each 8-week semester to cover expenses. It will be your option to take part in one, two, or all three semesters.
Each Wednesday afternoon session will be 90 minutes with a 15-minute break. The repertoire will be mostly Broadway tunes in harmony.
To join in for the fall semester (October 5 to November 23) or for more information, please contact Douglas Knight, Music Director: cpu.music.ministry@gmail.com
