Christians, in attempting to describe their experience of God, have often used “Trinitarian” language, speaking of God as an intertwining dance of holiness of three “persona” variously named throughout the centuries as Father, Son, Holy Spirit; Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer; Eternal Creator, Incarnate Word, Abiding Spirit. Today’s liturgies use biblical and Celtic poetic imagery to inspire our own experiences of God.
