📍 Note the location change: Now that the daycare children have been able to return to their renovated basement space, you'll find the freezer to your left when you enter through the main doors of the church building. The doors to the main building will be open for you to drop off meals for the Comfort Food Freezer from 10 AM to noon.
Please ensure that the food is in a freezer-ready container with a label clearly showing the ingredients and date the food was prepared.
The freezer can definitely use some filling up right now, so if you're able to provide a frozen meal, an Elijah plate, a serving of hearty soup or some homebaking, please do!
And as ever,
🥘 If you're in the building for ANY reason, you’re welcome to take a meal (or a bag of muffins/cookies, etc.)
🍜 You’re also welcome to take some empty plastic containers from on top of the freezer so you can bring them back full of something nourishing for someone else to enjoy.
🍵 And if you’re the person who enjoyed the meal, you can bring back your clean, empty containers when you get a chance so they can serve again.
There will be access to the freezer again on Wednesday, September 6, from 9 AM to noon, and every Wednesday after that.
