The Cedar Park United Community will be both guest and host on this special weekend. You’re invited to participate as you’re able.
Friday, March 21: We're invited to Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom in Westmount for a vegetarian potluck hosted by their community at 6:15 PM, followed by their Shabbat service at 7:45 PM, where Rev. Elisabeth will be preaching. We're already planning on carpooling, so let us know if you’d like to be part of that. Please RSVP by Sunday, March 16 if you plan on attending the potluck: communications@cedarparkunited.org
Sunday, March 23: Rabbi Dr. Lisa Grushcow will be preaching at Cedar Park United during our 10 AM worship. Rabbi Grushcow has been Senior Rabbi at Temple Emanu-El Beth Sholom, a congregation of the Jewish Reform Movement, in Westmount since 2012. Raised in Toronto, she studied at McGill, and as a Rhodes Scholar, earned her D. Phil at Oxford. She was ordained at the Hebrew Union, serving the Rodeph Sholom congregation in New York City before coming to Montreal. Rabbi Grushcow has been engaged in interfaith bridge-building throughout her ministry (which is where her paths have crossed with Rev. Elisabeth).
