Today begins our shared summer worship series with the West Island and Riverside United Churches Cluster (WIRUC). We’re delighted to be hosting this first Sunday!
This year, the summer theme is shaped by the United Church of Canada's New Strategic Plan. From July 2 to September 3, the host congregations will reflect a part of the theme (depicted in the fish graphic). Today’s we’ll be introducing the Strategic Plan Fish.
There WILL be a pop-up choir. Any singers who would like to help lead the singing and learn a new song for our summer worship series, are invited to arrive not later than 10 AM, for a run through rehearsal of all the music. The more the better!
Families with children are invited to the Family Pray Space, a sensory-friendly activity space for parents and kids of all kinds. Children’s Worship for children of all ages is a experience of the holy that happens outdoors (in almost any weather!) and happens partway through the service.
Everyone is invited to stay afterwards for cold drinks and conversation.
