In Lent, we are reminded that, again and again, suffering and brokenness find us. Again and again we doubt, mess up, and ask “Again? How long, O God?!” To all of this God offers a sacred refrain, “ Again, I will love you, heal you, lead you to renewal, new life.” Today, God meets Jesus, and us, at the water, at the threshold of something new, and names us all, “Beloved.” Let’s enter into the Lenten season hearing that sacred refrain.

Families with children are invited to the Family Pray Space, a sensory-friendly activity space for parents and kids of all kinds. Children’s Worship for children of all ages begins partway through the service.
