Transfiguration, according to Archbishop Tutu, is God’s desire and action to transform the ordinary, and even the ugly, into expressions of brilliance, beauty and wonder. We can choose to limit our awareness to this once-per-year festival, or to notice and imagine the potential for transfiguration around us, and within us, all the time.
Worship begins at 9:55 AM (ET) onsite and online. If you’re joining us online, we’d love to hear from you in the chat—where are you tuning in from?
Families with children are invited to the Family Pray Space at the back of the sanctuary where there are quiet activities, chairs, floor cushions and a rocking chair. Children’s Worship for children of all ages will happen partway through the service.
