For centuries the Christian tradition has worked on the premise that Creation is somehow a backdrop to the relationship of God with humanity. Thank God we are unlearning this, as we re-discover what it means to be God’s human children of/in Earth. Rev. Neil Whitehouse helps us to see how profoundly Jesus, and his good news were shaped by God’s good, sustaining creation. Our “homecoming” as his disciples, in this generation, depends on our ability to see and hear Jesus’ “green,” ecologically grounded good news.
