In this Season of Easter, the lectionary texts invite us to figure out how and why God’s acts of resurrection, of Christ and in creation, matters still, now. Today’s text reminds us, first just who we are as God’s people, calling us “living stones” with one calling: to proclaim God’s saving activity, light, love and mercy. No small feat!
